On June 22, 2023, NASTAD hosted the first webinar in a four-part webinar series, "Strategic Implementation Activities for Accelerating Ending the HIV Epidemic Efforts.” The series highlights innovative approaches currently being employed by Phase 1 Jurisdictions for Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) activities. Presenters share strategies for advancing EHE activities across the four pillars, expanding PrEP awareness and uptake, maximizing funding and partnerships for addressing the syndemics and supporting implementation efforts through a status neutral framework.

The first webinar, "Effective EHE Implementation Activities Across the Four Pillars" showcased the work of EHE Phase 1 jurisdictions across the four pillars as highlighted through the EHE Spotlight Video Series. Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services discussed their community partnerships to provide services in rural communities (Diagnose Pillar). DC Health shared their status neutral approach to housing and PrEP uptake (Prevent Pillar). Tarrant County HIV Administrative Agency discussed their community engagement efforts for people living with HIV (Treat Pillar). South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control to shared their work on HIV cluster visualization (Respond Pillar).
