Syringe Services Programs are Essential Public Health Infrastructure: Providing Services During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Hosted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in partnership with NASTAD and the Harm Reduction Coalition.
In this webinar, we will focus on the impact of COVID-19 on Syringe Services Programs (SSPs) and the critical services these programs provide. We will share information on CDC’s interim guidance for SSPs during the COVID-19 epidemic and the experiences of SSP staff and local leaders addressing ongoing risks related to infectious disease, overdose and injection drug use while adapting to COVID-19. Speakers will discuss leveraging partnerships to continue offering services, and describe local experiences adapting to COVID-19. Please feel free to share this announcement with others who might be interested.
