Overdose Prevention and Response During the COVID-19 Pandemic
In the United States, provisional data show a 12.3% increase in reports of a fatal drug overdose in the 12-month period ending April 2020 compared with the 12-month period ending April 2019. On January 12, 2021 at 3 PM EST, the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD), in collaboration with CDC, presented a webinar on drug overdose prevention and response during the COVID-19 pandemic.
