HCV Linkage and Navigation to Cure

Historically, hepatitis programs have focused on testing and passive referrals because of the limited treatment options before Direct Acting Antivirals (DAAs) and funding limitations that continue to plague hepatitis programs. With the availability of a cure, more programs are developing to support HCV linkage to care, navigation, care coordination, and case management to help move people across the HCV continuum. Scaling up these programs will be critical to increasing the number of people who can access a cure and ultimately work towards hepatitis elimination. This webinar highlighted models and successful strategies for HCV linkage to care, patient navigation, care coordination, and case management including health department funded, health department staffed, and CBO run.
