Kirsten Forseth (KEER-stehn f-AW-r-s-eh-th) is an associate director on the Drug User Health team. She leads technical assistance and capacity-building to state health departments and community-based organizations to ensure the effective integration of harm reduction and drug user health approaches. Prior to NASTAD, Kirsten worked in at the state and county health department levels in Maryland to expand naloxone access and implement syringe services programs. She received her M.Sc. in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a B.A. in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Oxford.
