Edwin Corbin-Gutiérrez

Associate Director, Health Systems Integration

Edwin Corbin-Gutierrez, Associate Director, Health Systems Integration, manages the Health Systems Integration team at NASTAD and oversees the implementation of the Systems Coordination Provider (SCP) initiative. SCP is a HRSA-funded project tasked with improving coordination across Ending the HIV Epidemic funding streams and provider networks in the initiative’s 57 Phase I jurisdictions. Edwin’s other areas work at NASTAD include strategies to finance PrEP and hepatitis C treatment, use of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, health care coverage for preventive services, and systems coordination with OUD programs. Before joining NASTAD, Edwin managed an HIV prevention program and the anti-violence crisis line at the Center on Halsted in Chicago. He also co-chaired the National Latino AIDS Action Network and co-chaired the Illinois HIV Planning Group. He was a 2005 Fulbright Fellow in Venezuela, he received his B.A. from Emerson College, M.A. from Northwestern University, and he is currently completing a M.A.S in Population Health Management at Johns Hopkins University.
