Auntré Hamp (On-tray Ham-p) is the senior director of Public Health Systems at NASTAD, and oversees the Health Systems Integration and Health Care Access teams. He brings over 15 years of experience in public health systems innovation, data science, and technical assistance, among other areas strategic insight to NASTAD. Auntré most recently served as an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University’s School of Medicine, in the Division of Infectious Disease, where he led the Data Science Team within the Center of Global Health Practice and Impact (CGHPI) and oversaw the HRSA SPNS initiative, Enhancing Linkage of STI and HIV Surveillance Data in RWHAP. Before Georgetown, Auntré served in the DC Department of Health, serving as an infectious disease epidemiologist, leading the HIV Surveillance program’s participation on the ATra Black Box data-sharing initiative and the DC, Maryland, and Virginia Data Exchange program. He has also served as an epidemiologist at the Georgia Department of Public Health and brings extensive experience of data systems and data integration practices. Auntré holds a Master of Public Health from Georgia State University and a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Arizona State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia.
