Andrew Zapfel

Manager, Prevention

Andrew Zapfel is a manager on the Prevention team. He leads NASTAD’s work with the Gay Men’s Health Equity Work Group and provides technical assistance to jurisdictions through the Highly-Intensive Technical Assistance and Problem Solving (HI-TAPS) initiative and the Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) program. Prior to NASTAD, Andrew worked in stigma and discrimination reduction and HIV healthcare access for LGBTI individuals globally. Andrew received his M.P.H. in Program Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation from George Washington University and a B.A. in Political Science and African American Studies from the University of Buffalo, the State University of New York.
