Evaluation & Research

overview

Formal evaluation and research provide an opportunity to apply a neutral eye to a project to assess feasibility, impact and need, and present unbiased input for improvement.

NASTAD Global has been funded under the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to implement formal evaluations and under National Institutes of Health (NIH) to implement research. In all cases, the focus of the work has been defined and guided by the local government partner. NASTAD Global typically helps to develop the protocol, obtain ethical approvals, train local implementing staff, facilitate and monitor implementation, train on and mentor data analysis and report writing, and present results and recommendations.

NASTAD Global works with local government partners to promote integration of high impact, cost effective interventions identified through formal evaluation and research into national and regional public health programs.
