Overview of Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Health Care Coverage Assistance Coordination

This webinar highlights two new resources to support health care coverage assistance coordination by Ryan White HIV/AIDS Programs (RWHAPs) and AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs). HRSA HAB's "Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Health Care Coverage Assistance Manual" reviews RWHAP considerations for insurance assistance across multiple coverage types (e.g., private health insurance, Medicaid or Medicare). NASTAD's "RWHAP Part B/ADAP Coordination with Medicare" toolkit provides a closer look at the Medicare program and provides information to support RWHAP Part B/ADAP staff in adapting program activities to better coordinate with Medicare coverage, including providing premium and cost-sharing assistance for clients.
