NASTAD provides domestic and global peer-based technical assistance (TA) on
effective HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis prevention and care/treatment programs.
Peers with first-hand experience in HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis program design
and implementation help other jurisdictions evaluate and improve programs and
can offer experiences and strategies that can be adapted.

In the U.S. and affiliated jurisdictions, TA is available to health department
HIV/AIDS directors and care/treatment, prevention and viral hepatitis staff.

Global TA and twinning agreements are available to other countries and U.S.
health departments through NASTAD’s Global Program.
NASTAD TA is consumer-driven, diverse, fully-supported, coordinated, and
comprehensive.
