Top 5 Reasons Why AIDS Directors Use NASTAD TA:
  • Availability of peer TA providers
  • Availability of tools from other health departments
  • Availability of expert NASTAD staff
  • Desire to hear national perspectives
  • Quality of NASTAD TA
NASTAD provides domestic and global peer-based technical assistance (TA) on effective HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis prevention and care/treatment programs. Peers with first-hand experience in HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis program design and implementation help other jurisdictions evaluate and improve programs and can offer experiences and strategies that can be adapted.
  • In the U.S. and affiliated jurisdictions, TA is available to health department HIV/AIDS directors and care/treatment, prevention and viral hepatitis staff.

  • Global TA and twinning agreements are available to other countries and U.S. health departments through NASTAD’s Global Program.
NASTAD TA is consumer-driven, diverse, fully-supported, coordinated, and comprehensive.
