Public Policy Decision Making guides policymaking for the organization. NASTAD
strives to make decisions by consensus, using voting when consensus cannot be
achieved. NASTAD issues position statements as needed, and also sets policy
through formal, written communications to federal agencies, legislators on
Capitol Hill, and the administration.
