Prevention Directors Meeting
NASTAD periodically convenes meetings of HIV prevention directors
from the sixty-five state and local health departments funded
by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to discuss
prevention policy issues, network and share strategies for effective
prevention program management and implementation of effective
interventions, and to dialogue with funding agencies, particularly
CDC, on issues of concern related to health department HIV prevention
