Decision Making
NASTAD makes decisions by consensus.
Work Groups and Committees
Standing and ad-hoc work groups and committees discuss specific
programmatic and management issues and offer recommendations for consideration
by the NASTAD Executive Committee. To become official NASTAD policy statements,
policy recommendations made through work groups or committees must be reviewed
and acted upon by NASTAD's Executive Committee.
NASTAD Positions
NASTAD issues position statements, but also sets policy through
formal, written letters and communications to federal agencies and to
legislators on Capitol Hill and the Administration.
